Jung-Gen Wu
received the B.S., M.S., and Ph. D degrees, all in Electrical Engineering from
the National Taiwan University
in 1974, 1978, and 1989, respectively. He is now an Adjunct Professor of
Computer Science and Information Engineering at the National Taiwan Normal
University. From 1980 to 1981, he was an instructor in the Department of
Computer Science and Information Engineering at the National Taiwan
University. From 1978 to
1986, he was with the Electronic Instrument and Microprocessor Lab. at the Tling-Ling Industrial Research Institute. From 1999 to
2017, he was a Professor of Computer Science and Information Engineering at the
National Taiwan Normal University. He was a visiting
scholar in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Southern
Methodist University and the Department of Electrical Engineering/Systems at
the University of Southern California in 1986 and 1992, respectively. His
current research interests include Computer Architecture, Parallel Processing,
and Image Compression. Dr. Wu is a member of IEEE, IEEE Computer Society, and
the Chinese Institute of Electrical Engineers (CIEE).
